TEXAS Ladie's Trip!

Back in March of 2022, we traveled to Texas for a girls trip and it was an absolute blast! There is SO much to do there! If you are wanting to plan a girls trip and are looking for somewhere to go, definitely look into visiting Texas!

Once we landed in TX we attended the Dallas Market to look for new boutique items! We enjoyed getting to meet our vendors in person and seeing all of the new inventory that was launching, we couldn't wait to get back and show all of our Southern Mama's Boutique customers!

The next morning we started the day at the Drybar for a blowout! Now I am hooked! LOL

We then headed to Waco, our first stop was the Magnolia Table! The food was so tasty!

After brunch we went and explored Magnolia Market + Garden, which my friends and I had been wanting to do since it first opened! This was such an awesome experience, and we were lucky it was a beautiful day filled with lots of sunshine! Chip & Joanna Gaines happened to be filming for the Silos Baking Competition while we were there, so we were pretty excited to get to watch this live! We also thought it was cool that Joanna's Mom worked in the gift shop around the corner from where they were filming and she checked us out after we were done shopping!

You know us Southern girls had to stop at the Sweet Tea truck there!

Next we went to the Candy Shop so I could pick up some goodies to take home to my boys! We ended our visit there with cupcakes from the bakery! The winner from the competition they were filming while we were there is supposed to feature their cupcake in the bakery! I definitely wouldn't mind going back to try it out one day! ;)

The next day we went to XOXO for brunch! It is so fun and girly! The atmosphere is so neat! The food not only was aesthetically pleasing, but was very good! There are so many cute photo ops here, and options to sit indoors or outside in the garden! I feel like it would also make a great place for a bachelorette party or birthday celebration!

Yes, we took advantage of ALL of the cute photo spots!

After brunch we visited the MYX Blend Bar in Dallas! We made lipstick which is a pretty neat process to watch and do!

I made my favorite mauve-pink color and added coconut scent which is my favorite! I am reminded about this trip every time I wear it!

We made sure to stop at Kittenish in Dallas, it is right around the corner from the Blend Bar, those stores are always so fun!

Every visit to Texas, Mom and I ALWAYS make sure at some point we eat at Red, Hot & Blue for BBQ! It's funny because when we tell the locals we love it they always think we are funny! We don't mind the food, but the real reason we stop there is for the sweet tea they serve in big pitchers! We love our sweet tea and when it's in your own pitcher, you don't go thirsty!!

Texas is filled with lots places to explore, places to shop & good eats, and I think it is a great place for a girls trip! We rented an Airbnb, and each night when we got back we ate, talked and laughed which at the end of the day is my favorite part of all girl's trips!

My Pink Stork Fertility & Pregnancy Routine!

If you know me, you know I absolutely LOVE Pink Stork! I discovered Pink Stork when I was in the hospital having Hudson. I was researching a postnatal, and saw a friend share them and the pink everything immediately caught my eye!  With my previous two boys, I always finished whatever prenatal vitamins I had leftover after pregnancy. This time I decided to try a postnatal, and I am SO glad I did! I clicked on the Total Postnatal on the website and immediately read the reviews, and knew this was the product for me! To this day, it is still my favorite Pink Stork product, as it changed my postpartum period for the better, tremendously! I was so amazed how much better I felt, and how much quicker I healed after my third delivery! From that day forward, I was hooked on Pink Stork, and when Hudson turned a year old I got the opportunity to work for them, which has been the biggest blessing! I often get asked what supplements I am taking, so I wanted to share for anyone who is interested!

New York City

If you know me, you know I LOVE to travel! One of my favorite cities to visit, is New York City! My Mom, brother and I decided on a last minute weekend trip, and it was the absolute best weekend ever! One thing I love about the big apple, is that there is SO much to do! There's every great restaurant you can think of, Broadway shows, entertainment and more! When I travel to other places I like to eat all the things, and always try to make a list of things I want to accomplish while I am there! In my opinion, a weekend in New York is a perfect way to see and do many different things, you just need to plan it out! Pinterest is my go-to! I made a list of things I wanted to make sure we did, and to my surprise, we knocked out everything on the list! This trip we stayed at Dream Midtown, which is conveniently located walking distance to most of the things we wanted to do. For things that were further away, we just took an Uber! Inside the hotel there is the  PHD Terrace at Dream Midtow

Savannah GA

One of my FAVORITE places to visit with my husband and friends is Savannah, Georgia! We get to visit about once a year and it is always so much fun! If you ever get to visit, you must check out some of my favorite places to eat + shop! Every single time I've been for a visit, at some point in the trip, we have eaten lunch or dinner at Paula Deen's The Lady & Sons Restaurant. I am a country girl who loves home-cooked meals, and this is just that! It's a must to order the fried chicken, and you can't eat there without the cheddar biscuits and OOEY GOOEY BUTTER CAKE! Just thinking of it makes me hungry! Prior to Covid it was a buffet, now it is still buffet style but you pick your options and they bring them out and keep refilling throughout your meal! If you are looking for a good brunch spot, Goose Feathers Cafe' & Bakery is a great option! We tend to beat the crowd and order it to go so we can enjoy it without the long wait!  The first ever Mellow Mushroom
